Two wonderful infinite series

This is an infographic about how two apparently similar infinite series can differ so much in their summation. Two curious infinite series. When looked closely, some infinite series seem to behave erratically.

Ever wondered what are infinite series? Are they part of some college course or High School? Nothing esoteric at all; they are just a sequence of fractions, or fancy numbers, a mere infinite number of terms.

But what's so special about them? Well, in some sense they are very, very special.

This infographic is about two special infinite series. In one of them, the sum of all the terms is just 1; in the other -deceptively similar to the first- the sum of the terms is infinite.

How come? So close, and at the same time so uneven?

Let the infographic speak by itself!
